This paper explores the rich history and cultural significance of the Royal Household of the Kachhawa Kings of Jaipur, known as the Rajlok. Tracing its origins from the establishment of the Kachhawa dynasty in the 12th century, the study examines the evolution of royal customs, governance structures, and the socio-political role of the Rajlok within the broader context of Rajasthan's history. Through a detailed analysis of archival materials, royal edicts, and contemporary accounts, the paper highlights the interplay between sovereignty and splendor in the Kachhawa lineage, showcasing how the royal household functioned as a symbol of power, cultural patronage, and regional identity. The research also addresses the challenges faced by the Rajlok in modern times, including the impact of colonialism, post-independence reforms, and the preservation of heritage in contemporary society. Ultimately, this paper underscores the enduring legacy of the Kachhawa Kings and their household, contributing to the understanding of Rajasthan's royal heritage and its significance in India's cultural tapestry.

Slums in urban areas are often marked by hazardous living conditions, including inadequate housing, poor sanitation, and limited access to basic services, which contribute to significant health, safety, and socio-economic challenges. This case study focuses on the slums of Visakhapatnam, a major port city in India, exploring the various factors that contribute to hazardous environments in these informal settlements. By assessing the physical infrastructure, sanitation, and socio-economic conditions, the study aims to understand the impact of these adverse conditions on residents' quality of life. Through surveys, field observations, and interviews with local residents and urban planners, the research highlights critical issues such as overcrowding, inadequate waste disposal, water contamination, and vulnerability to natural disasters. The findings reveal the compounded challenges faced by slum dwellers, including high rates of communicable diseases, limited access to education, and exposure to environmental hazards. The study also examines potential policy interventions and strategies for improving the living conditions in these areas, emphasizing the need for integrated urban planning, community-driven solutions, and government support to address the pressing issues of hazardous slums in Visakhapatnam.

From a historical perspective, "street interview" videos have experienced notable evolution across distinct formats, including documentaries, television news, and short videos. Within each format, "street interviews" have cultivated unique characteristics. The production of "street interview" videos adheres to identifiable conventions, with critical attention paid to the design of interview questions, the selection of interview subjects and locations, and the regulation of the number of interviewees.

This research explores the significant role of Nepal Television (NTV) in the advancement of Nepali politics, focusing on its contribution to the preservation and promotion of Nepali language, art, and culture. Before the establishment of NTV in 1985, Nepal lacked its own television network, and urban areas, particularly Kathmandu, were primarily exposed to Indian television, mainly through Door darshan. Television was a luxury limited to the wealthy and was not widely seen as an essential tool for education or national unity.  In response to the cultural threat posed by foreign media, King Birendra initiated the creation of NTV with the aim of protecting Nepali language and culture. Despite challenges such as financial constraints, limited technology, and a lack of trained personnel, NTV was launched as a national broadcaster with a vision to promote Nepali identity. This study uses both primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected through interviews with media experts, former NTV employees, and cultural historians, while secondary data includes existing literature on Nepal's media history, cultural studies, and political discourse. The objectives of the research are to examine how NTV influenced the development of a national television culture, its role in promoting Nepali language and arts, and its impact on political and cultural expression over the past four decades. The findings demonstrate that NTV has been a critical tool for national unity, cultural preservation, and the shaping of Nepali politics, contributing significantly to the country's identity in the face of global media influence.
